Digital Media Students Place Second in Regional SkillsUSA TV/Video Production Competition - March 21, 2012

The Digital Media team of Sean Clark from Starpoint and Tyler Wright from Niagara Wheatfield took second place in the Area 1 Regional SkillsUSA TV/Video Production competition at SUNY Alfred. Students spent the day competing against other students in their areas of study from Alleghany, Steuben, Monroe, Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Cattaraugus and Ontario counties.



Two Digital Media Teams Place in New York State SkillsUSA Competitions - May 3, 2012
Two Digital Media teams placed in New York State SkillsUSA Competitions held in Syracuse, NY this year. RJ Marsh from Lewiston Porter and Enya Patterson from Niagara Wheatfield took second place in the 3D Visualization and Animation competition, while Sean Clark from Starpoint and Tyler Wright from Niagara Wheatfield took third place in the TV/Video Production competition. Students spent three days in Syracuse, meeting and competing against other students from all over New York state.



Two Digital Media Seniors Inducted into the National Technical Honor Society - October 25, 2012
RJ Marsh, from Lewiston Porter, and Will Sattelberg, from Newfane, were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society this year. In order to qualify, students must be members of SkillsUSA, have excellent or perfect attendance, and maintain an average of 90 or better in their Career and Technical program, as well as an overall average of 85 or better at their district.
